Paddington Bear at
Paddington Station

Paddington Station is a very important place for Paddington Bear. It is where he was first found by Mr. and Mrs. Brown when he arrived in London and of course it is also the reason he got his name.

To commemorate this there is a life-sized bronze statue of Paddington in the station. Designed by the sculpture Marcus Cornish, the statue was unveiled by Michael Bond on 24th February 2000.

Next to the statue is a short escalator which leads straight to the only shop in the world which is exclusively dedicated to Paddington Bear.
