#CLOSED World Kindness Day Competition

Terms and Conditions

1.This competition is promoted by Paddington & Co. Ltd. (P&Co.) and being run on the Paddington US Facebook page (facebook.com/PaddingtonUS).

2.This promotion is open to US residents only except for employees of Paddington & Co. Ltd, Harper Collins, Litographs and Out of Print (or their parent, subsidiaries or any affiliated companies) and their immediate families, who are not allowed to enter the competition.

3.You must be 13yrs or older to enter this competition. If you are under 18yrs you must have permission from your parent or guardian.

4.How to enter: We’d like to help you to show your appreciation to someone from home, work or play who you feel deserve recognition for being kind. To enter, nominate by tagging them in the comments of the post. If your nominator is not on Facebook, please send us a Direct Message.

5.The opening date for entries is Friday November 13 2020 at 1100 hrs EST. The closing date for entries is Tuesday November 17 2020 at 1000 hrs EST. No entries received after this date will be accepted.

6.There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.

7.There are 5 winners with 3 prizes per winner which are:

1 x copy of ‘A Bear called Paddington’ book from Harper Collins

1 x Unisex T-shirt from Out of Print

1x Water-resistant Tote Bag from Litographs

8.The prize is non-refundable, non-transferable and subject to availability. No guarantee is given as to the quality of the prize.

9.No cash or prize alternatives are available.

10.P&Co. reserve the right in their reasonable discretion to substitute any prize with a prize of equal or greater value.

11.The winners of the competition will be selected by an impartial adjudicator at P&Co. who will make his/her decision at random based on all entries in the comments box below the Competition post. P&Co. shall notify the winners no later than 5pm EST on Thursday November 19 2020. Should P&Co. be unable to contact the winner/s within 48 hours, from this date, after reasonable attempts have been made to do so or should the winner(s) be unable to accept the prize, P&Co. reserves the right to award the prize to an alternative winner, drawn in accordance with these terms and conditions.

12.All entrants are expected to act fairly and in the good spirit of the competition. P&Co. reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who has engaged in unlawful or improper conduct that is designed to jeopardise the fair conduct of the competition or is generally damaging to the reputation of P&Co. and / or their partners, or has otherwise breached these conditions of entry (as determined in P&Co.s sole discretion).

13.Late, illegible, incomplete, defaced or corrupt entries will not be accepted. No responsibility can be accepted for lost or invalid entries and proof of transmission (including, but not limited to, screen grabs) will not be accepted as proof of receipt. Entries must not be sent through agencies or third parties.

14.Entrants must comply with the terms of use of Facebook and the Promoter accepts no liability for use, availability or operation of such services.

15.The prizes will be delivered to the winner/s within 28 days after accepting the prize and providing postal address for delivery. Please allow 28 days before getting in touch to raise a ‘non delivery’ claim. Each winner must make adequate provisions that the contact details they provide will allow for safe delivery of their prize. P&Co., and our partners in this competition, cannot be held responsible for delivery of prizes. It is the winner’s responsibility to ensure they have given a safe delivery address for their prize.

16.P&Co.’s decision as to who has won the competition shall be final.

17.The winners’ names will be available 30 days after closing date by sending a stamped addressed envelope to the following address: World Kindness Day Competition US, Digital Team, Paddington &Co., C/o Copyrights Group, 3 Pancras Square, Kings Cross, London N1C 4AG UK

18.The entry instructions are part of the Terms and Conditions for this competition.

19.By entering the competition you are agreeing to accept these Terms and Conditions. Any breach of these Terms and Conditions by you will mean that your entry will not be valid, and you will not be allowed to enter this competition.

20.P&Co. reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion and these terms and conditions without notice. P&Co.’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the promotion will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

21.By entering this competition you are agreeing that, if you win, your name and entry may be used for the purpose of announcing the winner and/or distributed to individuals who request details of the winner.

22.Personal information about entrants will only be shared with the Promoter’s competition partners and with the Promoter’s agents to the extent necessary to manage such entry and participation as an entrant or, where required, to a legal or regulatory body.

23.P&Co. will not be responsible, unless required by law, for any loss, changes, costs or expenses, which may arise from or in any way in connection with this competition including any errors, defects, interruptions, malfunctions or delays in the promotion and / or delivery of the competition or prize.

24.All entrants acknowledge that Facebook is in no way responsible for the administration or execution of this competition and this promotion is not sponsored or endorsed by Facebook. Facebook shall not be liable to players in any way for the promoter’s failure to correctly administer this competition.

25.Players accept that by entering this competition they are disclosing information to Paddington & Co. and not to Facebook.

26.Any dispute relating to the competition shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
